Conan the Barbarian on horseback, with woman (Ken Kelly's daughter!) draped over horse's shoulders. Originally titled "Conqueror," art was painted by Ken Kelly, and was published on the cover of "Conan The Champion", a Tor paperback book published in 1987 and also as a poster. Later published in the FPG Ken Kelly Collection Card Set from 1992, Conan The Conqueror Card, # 10.
The protégé of Frank Frazetta, Kelly is considered one of the top fantasy artists of the modern era. Of note, Kelly pays homage to his teacher by including the helmet of Frazetta's iconic Death Dealer character at Conan's side on the horse's saddle.
